Bonjour,

J'ai loué une voiture par votre intermédiaire du 17 au 20 septembre 2023 chez Europcar/Keddy à Bâle/Mulhouse et j'ai eu un sinistre en ayant une assurance complémentaire par AXA.

Depuis cette date je n'arrive pas à me faire rembourser.

AXA me réclame des documents supplémentaires que Europcar ne me livre pas.

Ces documents sont:

- Contrat de location de voiture signé. Celui que nous détenons au dossier ne porte pas de signature.

- Rapport de dommages/rapport d'incident de l'agence de location confirmant les détails de l'incident

J'ai envoyé une facture du loueur de 2'238,51 pour franchise non remboursable à AXA mais ça n'a pas l'air d'être suffisant.

(Je dois dire que mon carrossier aurait sûrement réparé le sinistre pour 400 et bizarrement la facture se rapproche de la franchise)

Peut-être que vous pourrez m'aider à régler ce litige ?

The car hire company OK mobility have taken money from my credit card with no invoice, no explanation, no correspondance and no permission. I want it back immediately.

My contract is with easy jet so it is your problem to sort out. I do not need to deal with cartrawler, whoever they are, and I retainly cannot speak to the rude ignorant and abusive personel at OK mobility.

Please sort this out, it is fraud !

I would like compensation for cancellation of car hire which incurred fees for as I had to change flights

I booked to fly from Gatwick to Inverness on Saturday 18 November. I booked the car hire at the same time as a package on the Easy Jet booking website.

I then received an email 5 minutes later to say that the car hire was cancelled for no reason. On phoning Easy Jet they said it was nothing to do with them and that the car hire was treated as a separate booking. I then had to rebook my flights which cost me £100. Why on earth do Easy Jet not inform customers at the time of booking that the car hire is unavailable.

It turns out the airport car hire closed before the flight arrived. Why are they allowing customers to book the car hire then?? I understood that the package as a whole is ATOL protected.

I would likes some compensation/refund but when I go on the Easy Jet website to find the correct form to fill in there is nothing relevant to cover this scenario. I have spent so much time trying to deal with this error caused by Easy Jet and the car hire company, yet I am the one having to pay the price for their mistake.

K63W5SR car booking double payment taken

I booked an EJ car rental when I booked my flights from Gatwick to Glasgow 9-12th October and was charged £155.13 by EJ on 18.9.23 at the time of the flight and car rental booking. When I arrived at your agent Green Motion in Glasgow they insisted I needed to provide a credit card for the excess, even though I had paid and taken extra insurance but when I said I only had a debit card they told me I had to have another car rental agreement with them and charged me an additional £138.00 on the 10.10.23.

I have therefore paid £293.13 for 3 days hire of an Aygo which is preposterous. Why did I have to pay a second time when I had already paid and why hasnt the first charge been refunded? I look forward to receiving the pre-payment back as a refund due to a double payment.

Green Motion also said that EJ only offered one car hire option and should show all available Green Motion options which include payment by debit card. I wonder how often this happens?

Excess payment

Dont uOn completing my booking for car hire I was charged £131.54. When collecting my hire car in Lisbon I basically had to repay for the car and insurance as the one I had purchased from Easyjet was invalid/not recognised by the hire company.

You have conned me out of the hire charges where I had to pay three times this amount again before I could hire the car. This is not only misleading but illegal in my eyes, because basically I have paid Easyjet for nothing.The hire charges you advertise are totally incorrect.

In future I shall go straight to the hire company. This is a total CON dont bother with them

In the small print they say I must turn up with two hard copies of utility and bank statements. The insurance I reviewed and couldn’t understand what I had bought - seems like a rip off.

I can’t provide hard copy statements so I cancelled online took the loss of 160 instead of turning up and losing 400 as I don’t have the hard copy forms they presumably will ask for.

I went online years ago so the postman no longer delivers what these luddites are asking for. It’s all a con

Completely agree! My insurance was declared invalid at the Hertz desk when I went to collect my car in Paris Orly.

Had to buy another policy.

Took two hours to get the car to drive off... Easyjet should stick to selling flights
